– A pinch of saffron strands (optional)
– 1 cup milk
– Oil or ghee for frying
– Sugar syrup (1 cup sugar + 1/2 cup water, boiled together until slightly thick)

Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, milk powder, mashed bananas, fennel seeds, cardamom powder, and saffron strands (if using).
2. Gradually add milk to the dry ingredients and mix to form a smooth batter. The batter should be of pouring consistency, similar to pancake batter.
3. Heat oil or ghee in a shallow frying pan over medium heat.
4. Once the oil/ghee is hot, pour a ladleful of batter into the pan to form a small pancake-like shape (Malpua). You can make multiple Malpuas at once, depending on the size of your pan.
