Ingredients –
1. Black Bengal Gram ( Kala Chana) – 1 Cup
2. Salt – 2 Cup
Method –
1. In a aluminium pan, take 2 cups of regular Salt and allow it to heat very nicely on high flame only.
2. Once the Salt is heated up strongly, take handful of Kala Chana and add to the hot Salt.
3. Now continuously keep roasting the Chana on high flame only until you could see the bursting of Chana.
4. It will puff up and become light and crispy.
5. Drain from the Salt and keep aside.
6. Roasted Chana (Phutana) is now ready to eat.
Note –
1. Flame should be very high only while roasting otherwise Chana won’t roast nicely and will not puff up also.
