Ingredients for this recipe –

दाल पकाने के लिये
मूंग दाल (बिना छिल्का) – १ कप (२०० ग्राम​)​
चना दाल – १/४ कप (५० ग्राम​)
नमक – १ छोटा चम्मच​
हल्दी पाउडर – १/२ छोटा चम्मच​
देशी घी – १ छोटा चम्मच​

पहला छोंक लगाने के लिये
देशी घी – २ चम्मच​
जीरा – १ छोटा चम्मच​
दालचीनी – १ छोटा टुकडा
लाल मिर्च – २, साबुत​
तेज पत्ता – २ पत्ते
हरी मिर्च – २, कटी हुई
अदरक – १ इन्च (कद्दूकस​)
लहसुन – १० से १५ कलियां
प्याज (मध्यम आकार​) – १, कटा हुआ
टमाटर (बडा आकार​) – १, कटा हुआ
हल्दी पाउडर – १/२ छोटा चम्मच​
नमक – १/२ छोटा चम्मच​
लाल मिर्च पाउडर – १ छोटा चम्मच​
धनिया पाउडर – १ छोटा चम्मच​
हींग – १/४ छोटा चम्मच​
गरम मसाला – १/२ छोटा चम्मच​
धनिया के पत्ते (कटे हुए)

दूसरे छोंक के लिये
देशी घी – १ चम्मच​
हींग – १/४ छोटा चम्मच​
जीरा – १ छोटा चम्मच​
हरी मिर्च – २, कटी हुई
लाल मिर्च – १, साबुत​
लाल मिर्च पाउडर – १ छोटा चम्मच​

To cook the Dal
Moong Dal (without skin) – 1 cup (200 gm)
Split Bengal gram – ¼ cup (50 gm)
Salt – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Desi Ghee – 1 tsp

For the first Tadka
Desi Ghee – 2 table spoon
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Cinnamon – 1 small piece
Red Chilli – 2, whole
Bay leaf – 2 leaves
Green Chilli – 2, chopped
Ginger – 1 inch (grated)
Garlic – 10 to 15 cloves
Onion (medium size) – 1, chopped
Tomato (big size) – 1, chopped
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Salt – ½ tsp
Red Chilli powder – 1 tsp
Coriander seeds powder – 1 tsp
Asafoetida – ¼ tsp
Garam Masala – ½ tsp
Coriander leaves (chopped)

For the second Tadka
Desi Ghee – 1 table spoon
Asafoetida – ¼ tsp
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Green Chilli – 2, chopped
Red Chilli – 1, whole
Red Chilli powder – 1 tsp

  • namak, Hing, lal mirch aur garam masala bahut dala hai. Baar baar repeat ker rahe ho vohi masale. Daily iss tarah ki daal nahi kha sakte. Bahut masale wali hai.
