  • the pidi were good but it's just my preference i added about 1/4 teaspoon of ajwan (ayimuthakam) 1/2 teaspoon of cumin seeds with the corriander powder, konjulli and curry leaves. In the pidi i added about 1 teaspoon of coursely grounded pepper powder, 1 teaspoon of fennel seeds with the cumin seeds coconut and salt. As I used the hot masala water for making the pidis I also added about 1/4 cup of coconut milk for the pidis. Then only problem the pidis came out a little dense. Any suggestions to make the pidis less dense-lighter? thanks for sharing again! 😀

  • i thought the dish was a little bland so i added a 1" piece of cinnamon, 2 star anise, while toasting the coconut and masalas. I also added some meat masala. The dish did come out tastier afterwards. thanks for sharing.
