How to make Kerala chicken fry or kozhi porichathu. Nadan kozhi porichathu is an easy chicken dish from Kerala. Using Kashmiri chilli powder gives a red color and the lemon juice makes the chicken tender and juicy.
I used a large lemon; but if you are using smaller ones use 2 or 3.
Using coconut oil and curry leaves gives a more nadan flavor and taste.

INGREDIENTS:
Chicken: 1 kg
Green chilies: 6 -8 (depending on your tolerance level)
Ginger: 1 large piece (1 inch)
Garlic: 1 pod
Kashmiri Chilli Powder: 2 tbsp
Turmeric Powder: 1/2 tsp
Salt: 1 1/2 tsp (or as needed)
Garam Masala: 1 tsp
Lemon: 1, large
Curry Leaves: 2 to 3 sprigs
Oil for frying.
