Puliyogare, is the South Indian Rice Receipe, It has got various names Puliyogare, Puliodharai, Pulihara,Puliyogaram, Imli ka Chawal, Huli Anna, Tamarind Rice, It is more famous in Tamil Nadu than in any other parts of India, Puliyogare will be tangy in taste as we have used lot of Tamarind, Very good receipe for travelling, normally people store gravy type rather than Puliyogare Powder, because if we keep Puliyogare gojju ready easy to prepare, only cook rice and mix gojju,Puliyogare is a good receipe for Bachelors as well, if they carry puliyogare gojju, they can use it for twenty days without fridge, Puliyogare Rice is a best lunchbox receipe,

In some parts of southern Indian In temples they distribute puliyogare as prasada, it will be different taste than this , I will show in forthcoming videos,
Ingredients of Puliyogare gojju are
big lemon sized tamarind
two types of Red chillies guntur and byadagi
Channa dal 2 tbsp
Dhaniya 3 tbsp
jeera 1 and half tbsp
urad dal 1 tbsp
menthya half spoon
black pepper 3/4th tbsp
til or sesame seeds
dessicated coconut
curry leaves 10 to 15 leaves
oil

for seasoning gojju
4 to 5 tbsp
mustard seeds
Tamarind juice
jaggery
salt
for puliyogare rice seasoning
oil
mustard seeds
channal dal and urad dal
ground nut seeds
puliyogare gojju
as required
