Heerekayi Thogaribele masida saaru is tastes bit diffferent, tangy hot and you will like, best suited for rice and ragi balls, Very easy to prepare hardly takes 15 to twenty minutes to prepare,
The ingredients for Heerekayi or Ridgegourd, tur dal curry are:
Thogaribele or Tur dal 100 gms soaked
Heerekayi or Ridgegourd 250gms, cleaned and chopped
onion
garlic
green chillies
jeera
tomoto chopped
Tamarind soaked
grated fresh coconut 1 tbsp
oil
ghee 1 teaspoon
salt to taste
For seasoning
crushed garlic
mustard seeds half teaspoon
red chillies
curry leaves
