Ingredients
Raw rice 1 glass
Thick poha bit morethan 3/4th glass
buttermilk 1 glass
1/4th glass urad dal
methi seeds1 Tbsp
baking soda 1/4th Tsp
Ingredients for green chilli chutney
Byadgi green chilli chutney
fresh coconut 2 Tbsp
garlic cloves 12 to 15 cloves
jeera 1 tsp
1 medium sized onion sliced
salt
jaggery 1 to 2 Tbsp
Small lemon sized tamarind
For tempering
oil
mustard seeds
urad dal
hing
curry leaves

I have learnt few south indian dishes while staying in bangalore & even after returning to my homestate, i keep watching south indian channels & keep learning. The people, their culinary skills & above all their overall way of living like temple visits, eating habits, cleanliness, sarees have influenced me to a great extent. I miss leaving bangalore. Today i learnt sponge dosa & mirchi chutney…its a must try now.
