Restaurant Style Paneer Do Pyaza | In this curry recipe onions and paneer are dunked in a creamy, rich, and classic onion, tomato, bell pepper and cashew based gravy. This gravy adds plenty of flavor to this recipe.

Serves: 4-5

Ingredients:

Oil – 1 Tsp + 2 Tbsp
Yellow Onions, Chopped – 1 Cup Or 3 Large
Green Chilies, Sliced – 2
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 Tbsp
Spice Mix – 1.5 Tbsp (Coriander Powder 1 Tbsp + Garam Masala Powder 1/4 Tsp + Turmeric Powder 1/4 Tsp)
Red Chili Powder – 1/2 Tbsp Or As Per Taste
Salt To Taste
Tomatoes – 2 Medium
Red Bell Pepper/capsicum – 1 Large
Ground Cashews – 1/4 Cup
Paneer Cubes – 1 Cup
Red Onion, Cubed, And Layers Separated – 2 Medium
Kasuri Methi – 1 Tbsp

Direction:

Puree tomato and bell pepper and keep it aside.
Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan and sauté cubed onions for 2-3 mins.
Transfer onions to a plate and set it aside.
In the same pan heat 2 tbsp oil.
Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add chopped onions and sauté till they turn golden in color.
Add green chilis and cook for a minute.
Now add pureed tomato and bell pepper.
Mix well and let it cook for 5-6 mins.
Add chili powder, salt, and spice mix of (turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala powder).
Let it spices cook for about 5 minutes.
Now add sautéed onion cubes, ground cashew and mix well.
Cook for 2 minutes.
Add kasuri methi, paneer cubes and mix well.
Let it cook on medium heat for 5 minutes.
Once done remove from heat and garnish it with cashews and coriander.
Serve hot with any flatbread of your choice.
