Ingredients For Mango Iced Tea
☛ 1 1/2 large-sized mangoes, or 2 cups mango puree
☛ 3 teaspoons black tea leaves, or 2 to 3 black/earl grey tea bags
☛ 4 cups water
☛ 1.5 tablespoons lemon or lime juice, or as needed
☛ 4 tablespoons granulated white sugar, or as needed

For Serving
☛ Ice cubes
☛ Mint sprigs for garnish, optional

How to make Mango Iced Tea
1. Add the water to a saucepan, and bring it to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, turn off the heat. Add tea bags or leaves to the with the strings hanging over the side of the pot. Cover the pan with the lid or let the tea steep for 3-5 minutes or as per instructions on the package.
2. Chop or dice the mangoes and discard the stones. Add the chopped mangoes to a blender or puree until smooth. Mango puree is ready. Tip, if the mangoes you are using are fibrous, then also pass the puree through a sieve.
3. After 5 minutes, discard the tea bags, and pour the tea base into the pitcher. Also add sugar, lemon juice and stir until sugar is dissolved completely.
4. Add mango puree to the pitcher and mix well until well combined. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until chilled.
5. Fill the tall serving glasses with ice cubes. Pour the chilled mango iced tea into ice-filled glasses. Garnish with a sprig of mint or a slice of lemon/lime. Enjoy immediately.
