Hi everyone, today let’s see how to make a stuffed chicken bun..

This is a new method of preparing the burn, by first boiling it in water, and then frying it in oil..

To prepare the dough for the bun, add 2 cups of plain flour into a large mixing bowl ..

In another glass, add 1 ½ teaspoon of yeast and one tablespoon of sugar and mix it with half a glass of lukewarm water until dissolved..

Next, season the plain flour with enough salt to taste

Next, add the prepared yeast and sugar mixture into the plain flour and mix it well..

If you need more water than half a glass, you may add little extra lukewarm water and knead it into a sticky dough as you can see in the video.

I have also added a tablespoon of sunflower oil into the dough.. you can add butter if you like to..

If the dough sticks a lot to your hands, you can dust the dough with a little flour and knead it into a soft and neat dough..

Now you may leave the dough to ferment for about two hours or so, depending on your weather conditions..

Leave your dough closed, to ferment.

Meanwhile we can make the chicken masala filling for the bun..

To prepare the masala filling, heat some oil in a pan and sautè finely chopped ginger, garlic , green chillies, and onion…

When the onion start to soften, add ¼ tablespoon of turmeric powder and sautè until its raw smell is gone

Next, add some pepper powder to taste and mix well.

Next, add 250 gram of finely chopped chicken and some sweet corn to taste..

Adding sweet corn is totally optional.. you can add either frozen sweet corn or fresh sweet corn.

After mixing it well, add some salt to taste and cook it on a low flame with the lid closed.

After cooking, add a little chopped capsicum and some garam masala to taste

Mix it well and turn off the flame and our masala is now ready!!

Now let’s get back to the dough.

After fermentation, take out the dough onto a flour dusted surface and knead it inwards and downwards to create a smooth finish..

After kneading, separate four small balls out of the dough and dust it again and roll it out by stretching with your hands..

Next, to shape the dough into beautiful buns, I am taking the help of a strainer to get the beautiful shape as you can see in the video…

Place the rolled out dough in the strainer and fill it with the chicken masala filling and shape it into neat buns..

After placing the filling, pull the dough from all the sides of the strainer and seal it so that the filling is enclosed inside well..

Once we have prepared the buns, make sure to rest them on a dusted surface only, else it will stick to the surface and you will not be able to lift them as they will stick to the the base

After the buns are prepared, close it and leave it to rest for another 5 minutes..

After 5 minutes, drop the buns into boiling water and boil it for a few seconds in water on both sides and take it out from the water..

After they come out of the water, drain off the excess water and fry them in oil on both the sides until golden..

With this, your buns will be ready to be served…!!
