pachamulaku Aracha chicken Curry/ Thick gravy/excellent for rice,chapathi,fried rice
Description :
Ingredients:
Chicken – 1 kg (Cut into medium sized pieces)
Onion – 1 big (Roughly chopped)
Ginger – 1 big piece
Garlic – 10 fat cloves
Green chilly – 13-15
Coriander leaves – 1 bunch
Curd / Yogurt – 3 tbsp
Cashew nut – 2½ tbsp
Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
Turmeric powder – ¾ tbsp
Garam masala – ¼ tsp
Kasuri methi
Salt
Oil
Steps:
Make a fine paste of onion, ginger, garlic and green chilly adding some water.
Make a fine paste of coriander leaves, curd and cashew nut adding some water.
Heat oil in a pan.
Add cumin seeds.
Add turmeric powder and saute well.
Add onion paste and salt.
Cover and cook on medium flame till the raw smell goes away and oil starts to separate.
Add chicken and mix well.
Cover and cook on medium flame till the chicken is cooked.
Once the chicken is ¾th cooked, add garam masala.
Add cashew-curd paste and mix well.
Once the paste becomes hot, cover and cook on medium flame till the oil separates.
Add kasuri methi.
Enjoy the green chilly chicken curry with rice or chapathi.
