Mushroom Potato Curry Video Recipe

Ingredients

Mushrooms – 200 gms(clean and cut each into four pieces)
Potato – 3 nos.
Thick coconut milk – ½ of a coconut.
Onion chopped – ½ nos.
Ginger crushed – 1 nos.
Green chilly – as needed.
Turmeric powder – ¼ tbsp.
Chilly powder – as needed.
Coriander powder – 1 tbsp.
Garam masala – ½ tbsp.
Cumin powder – ¼ tbsp
Tomato chopped – 1 nos.
Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp.
Curry leaves – as needed.

Method

Heat oil in a pan. Splutter mustard seeds. Add onion, ginger, green chilly and curry leaves. Saute for a couple of minutes.

Turn heat to medium. Add turmeric powder, stir for a couple of minutes.

Add coriander powder, saute till fried.

Add chilly powder, saute for couple of minutes.

Add tomato and salt. Mix well. Add potato. Turn heat to medium. Cover and cook tomato for about 5 minutes. Add mushrooms and coconut milk. Turn heat to high. Add 1/2 of garam masala. Add cumin powder and mix well. Cover and cook.

Boil till the desired consistency is reached. Check for salt and add the remaining garam masala.

Move to a serving bowl and Enjoy!!!
