How To Make Vendakka Kichadi || Lady Finger||Okra Curry|| okra yogurt Curry
Description :
Ingredients:
Ladies finger / Okra / Bhindi – ½ kg
Onion – ½ of a small one (Finely chopped)
Ginger – 1 small piece (Finely chopped)
Green Chillies – (Finely chopped)
Coconut Oil
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Dry red chillies
Curry leaves
Salt
Grated coconut – 3 ½ handfuls
Green chillies – 5
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Steps:
Wash and wipe the okra dry. Wiping them dry helps to reduce the stickiness.
Slit it into 4 and cut into small pieces.
Grind coconut, cumin seeds and green chillies to a fine paste adding some water.
Heat oil in a pan. Add okra and sauté till it no longer sticks to each other.
Add salt and fry well till the oil separates. Do not wait to be crispy.
Move the okra to the side of the pan so that the extra oil will be drained to the centre of the pan.
Transfer it to a bowl.
Add mustard seeds to the remaining hot oil. (Add more oil, if needed)
Let it splutter. Lower the flame.
Add red chillies and curry leaves followed by onion, ginger and green chillies.
Add fried okra and mix thoroughly on high flame.
Add coconut paste and a little water. Let it boil for 3 minutes.
Check taste and add salt if needed.
Pulse the curd for a second in the mixer jar to clear the lumps and add to the curry.
Switch off the stove once it starts to bubble from the sides.
Transfer to a serving bowl.
Vendakka kichadi is ready to serve.

hello chechi i need a help if you can. Njaan Bhopal laanu padikne so njangalde mess lu we can prepare food for everyone in our guidance. Ivide onam sadhya nadathiyappo ellavarkum pachadi ishtaayi. So njaan vicharichu this item aakanu enikkum ithu ishtaanu. Enik preperation paranju kodukaan ariyaam but ingredients nte alavu dont know.
