How To Make Chicken Macaroni

Description :

Ingredients:
Macaroni – 225g
Boneless chicken – 200g (Cut into small pieces)
Cornflour – 1½ tbsp
Soya sauce – 1 tbsp + 1½ tbsp

Ginger – 1 medium piece (Chopped)
Garlic – 5 fat cloves (Chopped)
Turmeric Powder – ¼ tsp
Red chilly flakes / Crushed red chilly
Tomato – 2 (To be pureed)
Capsicum (Cubed)
Onion – 1 medium (Cubed)
Pepper Powder
Corn
Carrot (Finely chopped)
Salt
Oil

Steps:
Boil water in a pan. Add required salt and oil to it.
Add macaroni to the boiling water.
Cover and cook on a medium flame.
Then drain and keep aside.

Grind tomato to a paste without adding water.

Combine chicken with cornflour, 1tbsp soya sauce and a pinch of salt well in a bowl.

Heat oil in a pan. Add chicken pieces one by one and fry both sides.
Do not fry for a long time. (If you are using boneless chicken, it just takes 10 minutes)
Transfer the fried chicken to a plate and set aside.

Remove excess oil, if any.
Add ginger and garlic to the pan.
Once it starts to brown, add turmeric power and saute till the raw smell goes off.
Add crushed chillies and pepper powder.
Add corn and carrot. (Can add chopped beans also)
Add tomato paste and salt and mix well.
Cover and cook on a medium flame till the raw taste of tomatoes isgone.
Add onion, capsicum and fried chicken to this and mix well for 2 – 3 minutes on a high flame.
Add 1½ tbsp soya sauce and mix well.
Add cooked and drained macaroni and mix well.
Cook covered for 5 minutes on a medium flame.
Chicken macaroni is ready.

Note:
– Soya sauce contains salt. So adjust the quantity of salt accordingly.
– Do not overcook onion and capsicum. It should remain crunchy.
