Easy TeaTime Snacks||നല്ല എളുപ്പത്തിൽ ഒരു ചായ പലഹാരം.. ഉരുളക്കിഴങ് വട /Potato Vada

Description :

Ingredients:
Boiled potato – 2 big
Rava / Semolina / Sooji – ½ cup plus 2 tbsp
Water – 1 cup plus 4 tbsp
Ginger – 1 medium piece
Green chilly
Onion – 1 big
Coriander leaves
Curry leaves (Optional)
Salt
Oil

Steps:
Cook rava in water stirring continuously till the mixture thickens.
Set aside 2 tbsp of the cooked rava and transfer the rest to a bowl.
Add boiled potatoes, finely chopped onion, ginger, green chilly, coriander leaves and salt to it.
Mix well with hands.
Pinch a ball and shape it into the shape of your choice. Repeat for the rest of the dough.
Heat oil in a pan. Deep fry on high flame.
Flip and cook until golden. Enjoy the potato vada hot.

Notes:
If the vada is breaking when you add to hot oil, add some more rava to the mixture and shape them.
