Easy crispy Bread vada

Description :

Ingredients: (Makes 8)
Bread – 4 slices
Rava / Semolina – ¼ cup (Unroasted)
Onion – 1 small (Finely chopped)
Ginger – 1 small (Finely chopped)
Green chilly (Finely chopped)
Curry leaves
Asafoetida / Hing
Pepper powder
Baking soda – 2 pinches
Curd / Yogurt – 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds (Optional)
Salt
Oil

Steps:
Powder bread slices by pulsing a few times in a mixie.
Transfer this to a bowl.

Add ginger, green chilly, onion, rava, curry leaves, asafoetida, pepper powder, baking powder and salt.
Mix well. Add curd.
Sprinkle some water and mix well to form a tight batter.
Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.

Heat oil in a pan.
Take small balls of the batter on to the wetted palm and shape it into a loose circle.
Make a small hole in the center with your wetted index finger.
Drop it into the hot oil.
Once it turns lightly golden, flip and cook both sides till golden brown.
Remove and enjoy the bread vada.
