Mia, we tried your recipe, the outcome was really good.And the aroma was all the more tempting.Thank you. Your presentation is simple and very good.
One observation was that when we cook the Biryani in dum, in sealed condition-in low heat-after ten to fifteen minutes, we have seen that due to the excess pressure developed inside the cooking vessel, the sealed lid opens up releasing the excess pressure. we tried putting a small weight over the lid, still the lid lifted up around two times. You never told about this-probably your heating rate may be just balancing.

As I understand, u r genius in this field, lemme clarify some basic doubts in biriyani making.

1 Where is the actual difference between making RICE WITH CURRY and BIRIYANI ?
(The total ingredients which are required to prepare motta rice and chicken curry separately, are the same as that of biriyani….but how an entirely different flavor is coming to biriyani ? Is it the effect of spices only?)
2 In some methods, biriyani masala is advised whereas in others not…..so what does this biriyani masala consist of? It can replace the whole curry powders ? How much it can be consumed for 1 kg rice ?
