Banana Balls/Pazham Unda/Ramadan special

Ingredients:
Ripe plantain / Banana – 1 (Steamed)
Grated coconut – ½ of a big one / 2 handfuls
Badam / Almond – 1 handful (Chopped)
Cashew nut – 1 handful (Chopped)
Raisins – ½ a handful
Cardamom powder – To taste
Ghee – ½ tsp (Optional)
Maida / All purpose flour
Grated coconut
Steps:
Add the steamed banana to a bowl and mash well.
Add grated coconut, badam, cashew nut, raisins, cardamom powder and ghee.
You can add sugar also if the banana is not sweet.
Mix well and make small balls out of it.
Add some water to maida and make a loose paste.
Dip each ball in maida mixture and roll it in grated coconut.
Slightly press the coconut so that it sticks to the ball.
Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the balls till golden on medium flame.
