Ingredients
Banana – ½ of one nendrapazham
Sugar – ¼ cup minus 1 tbsp
Egg – 1
Wheat flour- ¼ cup
Baking soda – 1 pinch
Cardamom powder – to taste
Oil – to fry
Hi everyone, today I am here with a tasty and very easy evening snack recipe which is sweet..
To prepare the batter of this snack, take a mixer grinder jar and add half of a banana, a tablespoon less than a quarter cup of sugar, and egg and blood really well to get a smooth paste.
Once the smooth paste is ready, transfer it into a mixing bowl and add a quarter cup of wheat flour, a pinch of baking soda and some cardamom powder to taste and mix everything really well.
You should get a batter which is neither too thick nor too thin to make this snack.
Adding baking soda is totally optional, but it will give the snack a very spongy texture.
Once the batter is ready, scoop out a little from the batter using a spoon and drop it in hot oil and fry on a medium to low flame until golden on both the sides.
Keep the flame to the highest right before taking out the snacks so that it can release the excess absorbed oil..
If your snack goes to flat in the oil, it’s mostly because of too much water content, you can easily fix this by adding a little more wheat flour and make the batter a little thicker.
Once they’re out of the oil, you can serve them!!
