To prepare this easy evening sweet snack, first melt 3 tablespoons of butter in a pan and add a glass of non-roasted Rava and roast for around three minutes on a medium low flame until it turns aromatic and loses its rawness.
If you have ghee at home, use ghee instead of butter..
once the rava is roasted, transfer it into another plate and let it sit n cool down..
Meanwhile, prepare jaggery syrup by heating 125 g of jaggery and 3 tablespoons of water in a saucepan , Melt it and bring it to a boil and turn off the flame.
Do not cook the syrup for too long, else it will turn to string consistency and harden up to much than required.
When the roasted Rava has cooled down, sprinkle some milk and dampen the Rava as you would do with puttu..
after this step, transfer the plate into a steamer and let it cook for a few minutes in the steamer.
Next, heat another pan and add 2 tablespoons of butter and melt.
Into the melted butter, add 3 tablespoons of Pottu Kadala roast gently until the raw smell goes away..
Next, add some nuts of your choice, which are non-roasted, Then the grated coconut and coconut flakes, 3 tablespoons of milk powder and some cardamom powder to taste.
Sauté everything well in the pan and combine everything well together.
At this stage, add the prepared jaggery syrup and spread it evenly throughout the mixture using a spatula or a spoon..
