രുചികരമായ നാലുമണി പലഹാരം || SNACK RECIPE || EVENING SNACK

Potato rice flour snack

Rice flour – 1 cup / 10 tbsp
Potato – 2 large
Water – 1 ½ cup
Cumin seeds – 2 pinches
Oil – 1 tbsp
Onion – 1 small
Ginger – 1 big piece
Chilly flakes
Garam masala – ¼ tbsp
Green chilli
Coriander leaves
Pepper powder
Coriander powder – less than ½ tbsp
Cheese grated
Salt
Oil – to shallow fry

Hi everyone, today I am going to make a healthy Ramadan snack recipe using rice flour and boiled potatoes..

To Prepare the snack, first, add one and a half cup of water into a pan and add a tablespoon of oil, some salt to taste and two pinches of cumin seeds to the water and then add a cup of rice flour and mix it all really well until no lumps remain.

Once everything is mixed well, turn on the flame and cook the flour until it forms a dough which is smooth and lump free, make sure to keep stirring the dough so that it doesn’t form any lumps.

When the door is ready, transfer it into a mixing bowl and let it cool down completely while staring it in between so that it does not dry up.

Next, boil and peel two large potatoes and then mash it using a fork until no lumps of the potatoes remain and then transfer the potato into the rice flour dough.

Into the same mixing bowl, add a finely chopped onion, finely chopped ginger, finely chopped green chilies and coriander leaves and then add some chilli flakes to taste, some garam masala to taste, some pepper powder to taste, salt to taste and less than half a tablespoon of coriander powder and mix it all really well using your hands to form a smooth and evenly textured dough.
If the dough sticks too much to your hands, wash your hands and then start kneading again.

Once the dough is ready, use a chapathi board and dust it with some flour and place the prepared dough on the board and spread it into an evenly one inch thick circle and cut into 4 pieces just like you would cut a pizza.

Now, place each of these pieces on a pan which is greased with some oil and shallow fry on both sides until they turn Golden.

Once they turned golden on both the sides, transfer to a serving plate..!
