മുട്ട സുർക്ക / Mutta appam /Mutta Surkka Kannur special
Description :
Ingredients: (Makes 7)
Raw Rice – 1 cup (Soaked for 2 hours)
Egg – 1
Onion (Finely chopped)
Green Chilly – 2 small (Finely chopped)
Coriander leaves (Finely chopped)
Fennel seeds – 2 pinch
Salt
Steps:
Grind the drained rice to a fine paste adding some water.
Water must be just above the level of the rice.
Add egg to this and pulse again.
Transfer it to a bowl.
Add green chillies, onion, coriander leaves, fennel seeds and salt. Mix well.
Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan. Pour one spoonful of batter to the oil.
Reduce the flame to medium once its puffs up.
Flip and cook both sides.
Repeat for the rest of the batter.
Mix the batter each time before dropping to the oil.
