പശുവിൻ പാൽ ചേർത്തു അതിരുചികരമായ വെജിറ്റബിൾ സ്റ്റൂ||തേങ്ങാപാൽ ചേർക്കാതെ Vegetable Stew Kerala
Description :
Ingredients:
Potato – 2 big (Chopped)
Carrot – 1 (Chopped)
Beans – 1 handful
Fresh / frozen peas – 2 handfuls
Onion – 2 medium (Thinly sliced)
Ginger – 1 big piece (Sliced)
Green chilly – 7 small (Finely chopped)
Curry leaves
Milk – 1½ cup
Water – ½ cup
Tomato – 1 big (Finely chopped)
Garam masala – 1½ tsp
Pepper powder – 1 tsp
Salt
Oil
For tempering:
Cashewnut – 1 handful
Raisins / Kismis
Onion – 1 small / Shallots – 3-4
Ghee
Steps:
Heat oil in a pan.
Add onion, ginger, green chilly and curry leaves.
Once the onion starts to brown, add pepper powder.
Add potato, carrot, beans, peas and salt.
Cover and cook on medium flame for 5 minutes.
Do not add water.
Add garam masala.
Cover and cook for another 5 minutes.
Add tomato and mix well.
Add milk and water.
Increase the flame and bring it to boil.
Mix well and adjust the flavors.
Let it boil for 7-10 minutes.
Switch off.
Heat ghee in a pan.
Add cashew nuts and saute till golden.
Add kismis / raisins.
Once it puffs up, remove.
Add chopped onion / shallots and curry leaves.
Once onion turns golden, switch off and add it to curry along with cashew nuts and raisins.
Leave it covered for a minute.
Serve with appam or bread.
