പഴവും ബ്രെഡും കൊണ്ടൊരു ഈസി സ്നാക്ക് | Banana bread Roll
Description :
Ingredients: (Makes 11)
Ripe plantain / Banana – 2 big (Steamed and mashed)
Bread – 4 to 5
Grated coconut – ½ of a coconut / 3 – 4 handfuls
Sugar – 1½ tbsp
Cardamom powder
Ghee
Steps:
Place bananas on a base in the pressure cooker and pressure cook for 1 whistle on high flame and then for 5 minutes on medium flame.
Once the pressure is released naturally, peel and mash them.
Pulse bread, grated coconut, sugar and cardamom powder in a mixie without adding water.
Once the banana becomes cool, add this to the banana.
Add 1 tbsp ghee and mix well with hands.
Pinch balls out of it and shape it into a thin elongated log/pipe.
Wind it in spiral shape and gently press the end towards the previous layer.
Repeat for the rest of the mix.
Heat a dosa tawa / griddle and brush some ghee on it.
Shallow fry on low flame till golden.
Ethakka snack is ready.
