പഴം കൊണ്ട് നല്ല കറുമുറാ സ്നാക്ക് || ||Banana mixture | Crispy banana snack

Description :

Ingredients:
Banana – 2 big / 655g
Egg – 1
Rice powder / Idiyappam powder / Pathiri powder – 5 tbsp or as required.
Cardamom powder (Optional)
Sugar – 1 tsp
Salt

Steps:
Place bananas on a base in the pressure cooker and pressure cook for 1 whistle on high flame and then for 5 minutes on medium flame.
Once the pressure is released naturally, peel and mash them.

Beat an egg well and add it to the mashed banana.
Add rice powder, sugar, salt and cardamom powder and mix well.
Add enough rice powder to form a smooth dough in the consisitency of idiyappam dough.
Load the dough to the idiyappam press.
Press it on to a plate/cutting board in circular motion.

Heat oil in a pan.
Carefully remove the pressed dough and drop it into the oil.
Fry on medium flame.
When the mixture starts to turn crispy, increase the flame and remove the mixture.
It will continue to turn crispy after removing also.
Enjoy the banana mixture.
This stays good for 5-6 days.
