Description :

Tomato – 1 large or 2 small
Cooked Rice of your choice
Mint leaves
Coriander leaves
Green chilli
Garlic – 5 big cloves
Ginger – 1 big piece
Onion – ½ large
Turmeric powder – ½ tbsp
Salt

Hi everyone, today I am here with a very delicious rice recipe which you can make from leftover rice.
For this recipe, you can use any type of rice that is cooked.

First, add a bunch of coriander leaves and a bunch of mint leaves, five big cloves of garlic, a big piece of ginger into the smallest out of a mixer grinder along with two green chilies or green chilies as per your taste and grind it into a coarse powder without adding any water.

Once the paste is ready, heat some oil in a pan and add the prepared coarse paste and sauté until all the raw smell goes away..
You can also add a pinch of salt in between so that it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pan.

Once the paste looks sautéed , add half of a finely chopped onion and sauté until the onions turn soft.

When the onions turn soft, add half a tablespoon of turmeric powder and sauté until it’s raw smell goes away..
Next, chop in one large tomato and add some salt to taste and mix everything well and leave it to cook on medium to low flame with the lid closed until the tomatoes turn soft and mushy.
While cooking the tomatoes, keep an eye on the tomatoes occasionally and mash it with the mixing spoon at times..

Once the tomatoes turn soft and mushy the masala is ready.. now, you can add boiled rice and give everything a good mix until the masala coats the rice really well..

Once done, transfer to a serving plate and enjoy..!!
