DOUGH
Wheat flour – 2 cups
Oil – 2 tbsp
Salt – to taste
Water
FILLING
Boneless Chicken – 300
Potato 🥔 – 2 large
Coriander leaves
Capsicum 🫑
Onion 🧅 – 1 medium
Ginger – one medium piece
Garlic – 5 big cloves
Green chilli
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Coriander powder – ½ tbsp
Pepper powder – ¼ tsp
Garam masala – ½ tsp
Rice flour – 2 tablespoon
Maida – 1 tbsp

Hi everyone, today I am here with an easy chicken roll recipe.
First, add 2 cups of wheat flour into a large mixing bowl and add some salt to taste and 2 tablespoons of oil of your choice and then rub the oil generously into the flour and then add enough water and knead the flour into a smooth dough and let it rest until we prepare the filling..Make sure to cover the dough while resting, else it will get dry.
Next, to prepare the filling, boil two large potatoes, peel them and mash them using a fork and set aside.
Next, add 300 g of boneless chicken, some salt to taste and some coriander leaves to a mixer grinder jar and grind it into a coarse paste and set aside.
Now to prepare masala, heat some oil in a pan and add diced onion, capsicum, five cloves of garlic and a medium piece of ginger, green chilli to test and sauté until it starts to turn soft..
When the onion and capsicum turn soft, add a quarter teaspoon of turmeric powder and sauté until its raw smell goes away.
Next, add half a tablespoon of coriander powder and sauté until its raw smell goes away as well.
Next, add a quarter teaspoon of pepper powder and half a teaspoon of garam masala or as per your taste and mix well with the masala and cover it with a lid on a very low flame and let it cook for a couple of minutes until the capsicum loses its crunchiness.
When this masala is done, transfer it into the same mixer grinder jar and gently crush it and then combine it with the mashed potato.
Next, combine the ground chicken paste, 2 tablespoons of rice flour, a tablespoon of plain flour, salt to taste into the masala and the mashed potato and mix really well using your hands to form a smooth and even filling.
When everything is ready, roll out the dough into thin sheet on the counter top by greasing it with some oil and then cut off the excess edges to make it clean and neat as you can see in the video.
Cut the dough into 3 to 4 inch wide strips and then grease your hands with some oil and take a chunk of the prepared filling, shape it into a sausage shape and then roll it in the prepared sheet and seal the edges by pressing with your fingers.
When the roll is ready, deep fry or shallow fry in oil until all the sides turn golden brown and crispy and then they’re ready to be served..!!
