1 cup sesame seeds, til
1 cup jaggery or gur broken in small pieces, available in Indian grocery stores
3 tablespoons clarified butter, ghee
1/2 teaspoon crushed cardamom
1/2 cup water

  • I made this this evening and even though I couldn't get them into balls – it just wouldn't stick together – it's still delicious. Now I have a container full of delicious crumbles! What do you think I did wrong that it would not stick?
