I had this with rice added to it, do you know how to do that
It is nice without the flavors added also if you sweeten with brown sugar or maple syrup.
lovely recipe. Can you please share healthy recipes for navratri fasting. most of them online are fry or with potatoes
Thank you very much

Aunt thank you for sharing all your recipes. I don't remember in which video you said that in order to speed the process of sabudhana we have to out it in hot water and it will be ready in 4 hours. Is this correct? Thanks again.
I love sabudaana Kheer. This recipe is very simple and looks delicious I am going to try it right now. Thanks
My mum used to make this for me when I was ill (but without all the saffron and nuts etc), its easy to eat when ur not well. Thanks for the recipe
For those with allergies to milk (or who cannot get milk without growth hormones, steroids or antibiotics), coconut milk can be substituted. (I also substitute the sugar with Xylitol for low-glycemic option.) With the coconut milk I also add some tapioca starch and cornstarch (for thickening).
Looks delicious. I'm eager to try this recipe out. I will let you know how it goes. I live in the U.S. and doubt if my local grocery store will have the large tapioca but I will find it. Thank you for the video and recipe. I'm subscribing and look forward to seeing more. I'm very interested in Indian cuisine.
Tastes great! And the family loves it
i really love your recipes.. they are simple and delicious .. thanx alot 🙂
very willing to try it. im a pretty big fan of tapioca pudding. plus, i love to try new things. never heard of mixing pistachios with it though. but hey, if they taste really good in canolis, im pretty sure they taste good in tapioca pudding also. haha
@chattingwithu Its about 3 months since you asked so I guess you might just have figured out what to do with your starch, but if not, let me tell you that Creme Anglais or Creme Patissiere which is used to fill gooey pastires is made with that. What you need to do is to soak 1.5 tbsp of starch in 2 tbsp of cold milk and bring to boil 1 cup of milk, add this cold soaked starch to it under stirring with a whisk. You must add sugar, salt and vanilla to taste and voila you have a delicious dessert.
thank you ! i love tapioca and will make the recipe soon.
manjola, can you show a recipe for puran poli ?
@Manjulaskitchen ok…thank you…I will look for the pearls then.
@chattingwithu
Sorry tapioca starch will not work.
I was so looking forward to making this today but when I got home I realized I purchased tapioca starch…is there anyway I could use this instead of the pearls and if so how much should I use! Thanks!
Thank you for sharing! I think I will give this a try!
Thanks Manjula, that looks delicious.
@ExstacyQueen
I use whole milk
Looks very tasty! What kind of milk did you use for this? Is it whole fat milk or 2%? Just wondering.
Thank you, I have been making the dishes you have demonstrated and have been successful. Very flavorful.
