The key ingredient of this tasty dish is the ginger+lemon juice. Manjula is right when she says that the juice also smells good.. In fact fantastic smell and taste
Hi Eddie, me being italian and making risotto all the time I would recommend Yams more (the orange ones… however you call them…) but we usually use white regular potates so they dont mash all up. I Hope it helps.
Looks healthy too.,
Hi in Jamaica they are both sweet potaotes. white sweet potato & yellow sweet potato..love your channel. Will try recipies very soon
Looks yummy. Nice video
Hello Manjula. I tried this recipe in my home and everyone loved it. Thank you!
Simple & good… Thanks You
The accent is the most beautiful thing about the video.
Would be able to tell me, where did you get your grater from?
Its quite cool…
I love your accent Manjula 🙂
This reminds me of a way of cooking sweet potatoes I picked up from street sellers in Delhi. The main difference is that the potatoes were cooked slowly over wood embers, giving a delicious smoky taste. To the pieces of potato were added lime juice, garam masala, chilli powder and black salt. Not as sophisticated as this recipe (which I must try!) but very tasty. I love the idea of adding ginger juice to lemon juice.
This looks nice and so pretty! Thanks!
Sweet potatoes & yams are different, one is yellow & the other orange.
That is an extremely healthful dish. It is full of vitamins and fiber. Thank you so much for teaching us to make it.
this is not arbi it is white and pinkesh shakkerkandi.
You can buy black salt in any indian grocery store it looks kinf of pink but if you dont have it just do without.
