  • Hi Manjula, how do you recommend cooking this recipe if I don't have a pressure cooker? Could I cook it on slow over the stove or use canned kidney beans? If so, how?

  • Can I substitute fresh beans with canned beans? Would it come out just as tasty?

  • I could not tell if you added what was left of the 6 cups of water that the kidney beans had soaked in and then an additional 3 cups of water just before starting the pressure-cooking part of the preparation.  Does it need water from both?
