Ingredients
4 ears of corn, husked and silky thread removed
1 teaspoon oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon finely grated ginger
Instructions:
-Remove the kernels from the corn by tearing off the husk and running a knife downwards to remove them.
-Coat a flat-bottomed heavy frying pan with oil and heat over medium-high heat.
-Add the corn kernels to the pan and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes, continuously stirring.
-The kernels will develop a mix of light and dark brown colors, and some may pop like they’re grilling.
-Once the kernels are uniformly colored, turn off the heat and add salt, black pepper, lemon juice, and ginger. Mix well.
-Enjoy the delicious flavor reminiscent of grilled corn without needing a grill.
