2 tablespoons corn starch
Pinch of citric acid
1 teaspoon oil
1 teaspoon Yeast
1-1/2 cup lukewarm water

for Syrup

1-1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup water
4 cardamom crushed
A few strands of saffron
Few drops lemon juice
Oil to fry

  • I did not realize how easy these were to make! Our local shopping street has a spring time "Street Fest" where all the vendors, the local library, the churches on that street display their goods and services for the public to get to know the different stores. One shop served these as treats for guests to the festival and we loved them.
