1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder

Tea for 2 Cups of Chai
1-1/2 cup water

  • Good morning, would you be good enough to provide a list of ingredient and measurements. I love chai tea and drink it whenever I’m feeling a little under the weather as it makes me feel so much better. Thank you so much.

  • Hi Manjula. Just questioning your measurements of anise seed, and ginger powder, if you can clarify please. You said 1 tsp anise seed, but your little bowl looks more like a tbsp. You said 1/2 tsp ginger powder but that looks like about 1 tbsp.

unfortunately my masala chai turns out a little watery….lacking a bit of flavour .
I remember that i had one packed with flavour & extremly intense, havent been able to reproduce it though 🙁

  • Thank you very much…marvelous recipe. I wonder whether you would feel comfortable recommending a slow cooker chai recipe made with vegan milk? Your lucky guests! So jealous…

  • Namaste, Manjula. I love your cooking channel! 🙂 I just made chai as shown in your video. It was fun to make, the aroma is wonderful, and tastes delicious! For my taste preferences, I used half and half instead of milk. The chai spice mix is great, but next time I’m going to add a bit more cinnamon and anise to balance the prominent cardamon. Thank you for taking the time to make this video, and please keep making more! We appreciate you! 🙂
