  • Hi, looks great. Can you freeze on of the pizzas once it's cooked and cooled down, or the dough before it's baked?

  • Thank you so much Ms. Manjula for this recipe.  I have a lot of issues with lactose pizzas full of cheese; however, I will be able to adapt your recipes using my almond milk as substitute in the crust.  I love cabbage so I cannot wait to try this.

  • I made the topping but bought the pizza bases from the store. I added some tobasco, hing, paprika and grated ginger instead of the chilli and finished it off with slices of tomato. Very nice.

  • Soybean oil is a neuro-toxin. Palm oil or grape seed oil is best.

  • I really liked this recipe. I have become dairy free, so i I will substitute milk with almond milk. Its very relieving to see a recipe .. that too a pizza recipe without cheese and onions. Cabbage and peppers are great alternatives.

  • Hello, Yes you can substitute another type of flour. You can use a bread flour.
For best results measure the flour by weight, not by volume.
1 cup of all purpose flour weights 125 grams.
Manjula's receipe specifies 2 3/4 cups of all purpose flour, just use 343.75 grams of the substitute flour.

  • I've cooked cabbage low and slow, and also blanched it. My mind is blown at the idea of putting it on pizza! I'm trying this out, and it looks like my tastebuds will be blown in a week or two. Awesome idea Manjula!
