Ingredients:
• 3 medium size potatoes boiled and peeled
• 1 cup finely chopped tomatoes
• 2 tablespoons oil, (canola or vegetable)
• 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, jeera
• 1/8 teaspoon asafetida, hing
• 2 teaspoons coriander powder, dhania
• 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
• 1/4 teaspoon turmeric, haldi
• 1 teaspoon finely grated ginger
• 1 teaspoon salt
• About 2 cups of water
• 1/4 teaspoon garam masala
• 2 tablespoons finely chopped cilantro, dhania
• 1 green chili, seeded and cut into small pieces, optional
