yes! i've used peanuts, sesame seeds, pistachios, even mixed nuts. i've used salted and unsalted nuts and both ways make a delicious brittle. the salt in the salted nuts mixed with the sugar is really nice.
no, buying sliced or slivered almonds is better than slicing at home.
I love Manjula's videos, she has the warmest smile.
Your Indian food videos are always a treat! Flawlessly presented, keep them coming. I look forward to trying this sweet treat.

Most appreciated.
Hi Aunty! Awesome recipe!!! I am planning to buy some pans for everyday cooking. Aunty please suggest what type of pans will be useful for everyday Indian cooking. and also suggest the cookware material…I am in UK.
Thank you so much for all your easy ecipes…
This is much easier to make than the conventional American method of making peanut brittle, which takes so much more time. Thank you for this recipe! I'm always making peanut brittle for my friends at work, but it takes so much time that it soon is not a pleasure to make. But your recipe looks like the same result with only a few minutes of cooking! Thank you again Manjula!
