Varagu Omapodi
INGREDIENTS
Varagu Flour – 1/2 Cup
Bengal Gram Flour – 1/4 Cup
Omum Poo – Very Little
Salt – To Taste
Oil – For Deep Frying
METHOD
1. Mix Varagu flour, Bengal gram flour and salt together in a bowl.
2. Soak Omum Poo in little water and add to the flour. Blend well with finger tips.
3. Add water little by little and prepare dough.
4. Press through murukku press using ompodi (sev) disc directly into hot oil.
5. When it turns crisp, take out and keep on a colander.
