INGREDIENTS
Dry Green Peas – 1 Cup
Green Chillies – 2
Ginger – ½ inch piece
Coriander Leaves – 1 Tblsp finely cut
Salt – To Taste
Grated Raw Mango – 2 Tblsp
Grated Coconut – 1 ½ Tblsp

For Tampering:
Oil – 1 Tsp
Mustard Seeds – ¼ Tsp
Black Gram Dhal – 1 Tsp
Broken Red Chillies – 1
Curry Leaves – Few
Asafoetida Powder – Little

METHOD
1. Soak Green Peas in water overnight.
2. Strain the water. Pour fresh water and pressure cook for 2 whistles.
3. Strain water and keep aside.
4. Grind ginger with green chillies.
5. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, allow to splutter. Add black gram dhal, curry leaves, broken red chillies and then Asafoetida powder.
6. Add ground paste of ginger and then cooked peas.
7. Stir fry until it turns hot.
8. Sprinkle salt, mix well and garnish with grated raw mango, grated coconut.
