Peas Pulao
INGREDIENTS
Basmati Rice – 1 Cup
Green Peas (Shelled) – 100 gms
Peeled Small Onions – 10
Coconut Milk – 2 Cups
Salt – To Taste
Oil – As Required
Bay Leaf – 1
Cinnamon, Cloves, Cardamom, Marathi Moggu, Star Anise – Few
Pound Together:
Peeled Small Onions – 6
Garlic – 3 Flakes
Green Chillies – 3
Ginger – 1/2 Inch Piece
Grated Fresh Coconut – 2 Tblspn
METHOD
1. Heat oil in a pressure pan.
2. Add garam masala, spices, small onions and then, green peas.
3. Fry well with ground masala.
4. Mix washed rice, fry for a minute. Add coconut extract, salt.
5. Allow to boil once. Close with lid, keep weight and cook in low flame for ten minutes.
6. Open the lid, mix gently and serve hot.
