Paruppu Podi / Dhal Powder (Andhra Style)
INGREDIENTS
Roasted Bengal Gram Dhal – 1 Cup
Red Chillies – 15
Salt – 1 Tsp
Garlic – 8 Flakes
Grated Dry Coconut / Desiccated Coconut – 1 Tblsp
Ghee – 1 Tsp

METHOD
1. Fry red chillies, roasted gram using one teaspoon ghee for 2 mins.
2. Cool thoroughly, add salt and powder it in a mixie. Sift It.
3. Add peeled garlic to the coarse ingredients which is left in the sieve and run the mixie with short interval.
4. Add coconut powder to the garlic ad run the mixie once again.
5. Mix everything together and bottle it.

To Serve:
Add melted ghee to hot cooked rice just required dhal powder, mix well. Avakkai or mango pickle also can be mixed along with this while eating, which is very delicious.
