INGREDIENTS
Onion – ¼ kg
Bengal Gram Flour – 1 Cup
Rice Flour – 1 Cup
Salt – To Taste
Red Chilli Powder – ½ Tsp
Sliced Green Chillies – 2
Ghee – 2 Tblsp
Cooking Soda – 2 Pinches
Finely Cut Curry Leaves – Little
Aniseed (Saunf) – ¼ Tsp
Ginger-Garlic Paste – 1 Tsp
Oil – For Deep Frying

METHOD
1. Slice onions lengthwise.
2. Sift both flour varieties together.
3. Rub ghee with cooking soda in bowl until frothy.
4. Add the flour. Blend well using finger tips.
5. Mix rest of the ingredients.
6. Sprinkle very little water to hold.
7. Deep fry as clusters in hot oil, until crisp.
8. Drain on a colander and serve hot.
