INGREDIENTS
Raw Rice — 1 Cup
Rice Flakes — ¼ Cup
Black gram Dhal (Urad Dhal) — 1 Tblsp (Heaped)
Red Gram Dhal (Thuar Dhal) — 1 Tblsp
Fenugreek Seeds — 1 Tsp
Fine Semolina (Rawa) — 1 ½ Tblsp
Salt — To Taste
Sugar — ½ Tsp
Butter — As Required
METHOD
1. Soak rice, fenugreek, dhal, rice flakes together in water for 2 to 3 hours.
2. Grind to paste, add salt at the end.
3. Ferment the batter until next day morning (20 hours).
4. Add sugar, rawa and mix well.
5. Pour thin dosa, spreading from centre. (Do not add oil immediately).
6. When it turns golden underneath spread onion chutney and a thin layer of masala on top.
7. Fold like a triangle and then serve.
For Masala:
INGREDIENTS
Boiled Potatoes — 250 gms
Finely Cut Onions — ¼ Cup
Salt — To Taste
Grind to Paste:
Garlic — 3 Flakes
Red Chillies — 4 (Soaked)
Oil — For Frying
Lemon Juice — 1 Tblsp
Turmeric Powder — ½ Tsp
METHOD
1. Heat oil, fry onions and add ground paste
2. Fry well. Add mashed potatoes, salt and again fry well.
3. Squeeze lemon and remove from fire.

wrong way of making masala dose
aaloo Palya and the red chatni r different
Folding is good but dosa is not cooked properly. Even onion is nit fried properly. I think you have to spread the garlic paste and then add the potato filling.
