Mushroom Pista Kurma
INGREDIENTS
Sliced Onions – 1/2 Cup
Finely Cut Tomatoes – 1/2 Cup
Oil – For Frying
Sliced Mushrooms – 200 gms
Boiled Peas – 100 gms
Ginger-Garlic Paste – 1 Tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 Tsp
Salt – To Taste
Sugar – 1/2 Tsp
Garam Masala Powder – 1/2 Tsp
Aniseed (Saunf) – 1/4 Tsp

Grind To Paste:
Grated Fresh Coconut – 1/2 Cup
Pista – 25 Gms
Cashewnuts – 10
Green Chillies – 2
Coriander Leaves – 1/4 Bunch

METHOD
1. Heat oil in a frying pan.
2. Add aniseeds, sliced onions and then ginger-garlic paste.
3. Fry until onions turn transluscent.
4. Continue frying with mushrooms.
5. Fry well until mushroom shrinks.
6. Add tomatoes, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, sugar and saute for few minutes.
7. Mix ground paste along with cooked peas and little water and boil till thick kurma consistency.
