Mango Pickle
INGREDIENTS
Grated Raw Mango – 2 Cups (Heaped)
Peeled Garlic – 15
Red Chilli Powder – 2 Tblsps
Salt – 1 1/2 Tblsp
Oil – 1/2 Cup
Mustard Seeds – 1/2 Tsp
Fenugreek Seeds – 1 Tsp
Asafoetida
Roast & Powder:
Cumin Seeds – 3/4 Tsp
Fenugreek Seeds – 3/4 Tsp
METHOD
1. Dry roast cumin and fenugreek separately and powder them togther.
2. Mix salt, chilli powder with grated mango.
3. Heat oil, add seasonings, asafoetida, garlic and switch off the stove.
4. Pour over mango along with powdered spices.
5. Mix well and transfer to a clean bottle.

using plastic s not good. literally for tempering
it's not good. should use more seasam oil for pickles. it's very dry and it's not looking like pickle

Mallika Ji, Thank you for sharing this receipe. I wih the bowl you are using is not plastic. FYI please do not use plastic containers especially for making pickles. Please do not pour the seasoning directly into the plastic cup as it realises the BPA toxins. I am your fan so pl dont ignore this message.
