INGREDIENTS
Black Gram (De-Husked) Urad/Ulundhu – 1 Cup
Salt – 3/4 Tsp
Finely Cut Greens – 1 Cup
Ginger, Green Chilli Paste – 1 Tsp
Oil – Enough to deep fry
*Greens – Either use Mulai Keerai or Arai Keerai, Which is called as Amaranth leaves.
METHOD
1. Soak black gram in water for 1 hour.
2. Strain water thoroughly.
3. Grind to coarse paste with salt.
4. Mix greens, ginger, chilli paste to that.
5. Prepare medium orange sized balls, pat on a greased polythene sheet or banana leaf.
6. Deep fry in hot oil till crisp and golden.
