KAMBU THAYIR : Pearl Millet Curd Rice | Mallika Badrinath Recipe | Probiotic Indian Food

KAMBU THAYIR (Probiotic food -Indian):
Ingredients:
Bajra – 1 cup
Water – 4 ½ cup
Sour whipped curd – as required
Salt – to taste
Method:
1. Sprinke little water to bajra and keep aside for 10 minutes.
2. Powder it in a small mixie by giving space in between while pounding.
3. Heat water in a braod vessel.
4. When it starts boiling, add millet rawa and stir constantly until water gets absorbed and millet gets cooked properly.
5. Add salt and take out from stove.
6. Allow to cool thoroughly. Serve as it is by preparing balls.
7. Store rest in a mud pot for 1 day or make it like a probiotic drink by adding ground paste, buttermilk which is strained. Serve as a drink.
