INGREDIENTS
Sprouted Green Gram – 1 Cup
Boiled Mashed Potatoes – ¼ kg
Boiled Green Peas – ¼ Cup
Ginger – ½ inch piece
Green Chillies – 4
Salt – To Taste
Finely Cut Onions – ¼ Cup
Chopped Coriander Leaves – 1 Tblsp
Asafoetida Powder – Little
Oil – As Required
Banana Leaf
METHOD
1. Grind Sprouts coarsely. Add mashed potatoes, ginger-chillies paste, salt, boiled mashed green peas, Asafoetida powder and friend onions.
2. Knead like a cutlet dough.
3. Cut Banana leaf into small squares.
4. Pat small circles on top of greased leaf.
5. Close with another small leaf and place it on top of a hot pan.
6. Reduce flame and allow to cook until leaf shrinks.
7. Turn over gently until dark brown on both the sides.
8. Serve with onion chutney/tomato ketchup.
