CHOW CHOW KOOTU
Ingredients:
Chow Chow – 1 cup
Diced and cooked bengal gram – ¼ cup
Salt – to taste
Coconut oil – 1 tbl spn
Grind to paste:
Grated fresh coconut – ¼ cup
Green chillies – 1
Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
For seasonings:
Mustard, black gram dhal, curry leaves.
Method:
Pressure cook chow chow with bengal gram dhal; for 2 or 3 whistles.
Grind coconut, cumin and chillies to a thick paste.
Open the lid, add salt ground paste and allow to boil for 1 or 2 minutes.
Heat coconut oil, add seasonings, curry leaves pour over kootu. Serve with rice.

Good. One recipe close to authentic cuisine. But you have used too much of coconut. And, please do not cook the vegetable in cooker. It is a tender vegetable. Please cook it outside. And please boil a little more too.
